Trees for survival

40% of our land is covered with trees ,are with trees. Only 23.8% of data collected in 2012 and that's . If you cut all them down we won’t breath.You should only cut down the trees for a good reason,if you cut some down leave the some up.Because before you know it, all the trees will be gone and only house and buildings will be left. Some people throw the furniture out too and that's just a waste of the trees. We we learn to recycle things.

There were 2,700,192 cars in 2012, in Auckland so we would need to double the trees to collect all the Carbon dioxide that are produced by these cars. So we have enough oxygen to live. Some people call NZ the Green land because of our trees so if we want to keep it that way. we need to plant more trees.If people keep on cutting down trees all the animals wouldn’t have a place to live,they would need to keep on moving and moving until the people stop cutting trees,but that will never happen.

39.9% of the country is full with grassland. Housing is a problem in New Zealand. This makes it even harder because we need land to build more houses and it is also becomes very important to plant more trees.

So you should plant 2 each year.

Santa letter

Dear Santa,
I love my skateboard, I take it everywhere I go. I’m gonna purchase it forever and I will take good care of it. I love it and will do my best to keep it like that.It’s very fast and really cool. Every time I get overjoyed because I love going down the hill.I got one Fantastic Skateboard,I will have it for lots of decades.Once again I love it and I will purchase it forever.

I like this book because it’s different and it’s has so much detail but it’s really short.

This book is about this boy who gets himself in trouble all the time.There a boy that tries to tears him apart and his names is Master Perry Crumble he never gets away with it so he keeps doing it until he does it.

“Hay Jarrod wake up” My sister whispered in my ear. “Go away I’m trying to have a sleep”I said with sleepy ness. “Ow , why did you do that for” I yelled “ ha ha ha”.

“Jarrod hurry up and clean up” My mum said. “I’m getting changed Mum !!!” I shouted. “Were going now” My aunt said.We jumped in the car and drove and just talking and saying some jokes.

All the kids were sleeping,I woke up and looked my sister.Amelia was sleeping on her neck it was funny,Halayla was doing the same.We arrived at my mum sisters place. I just Asked “can I go on your laptop”.“Okay” In a relax way.I played all the games I play here.My cousins came and we had A great time.

We had some lollies,played hide and seek. The last thing we did was had dinner and play on phones and laptops until 3AM

We went to the park the next day.Me and Halayla were having a great time we were laughing  and playing.We went to the little market next to the park we had some food and played on the go carts and the horse.

Guy Fawkes with my friend.

“Yah.I’m going to my friend I’m going to my friends”. “ Hay mum can I stay at Milans for Guy Fawkes”. “Ok but is it alright with them” “it is” “Ok go i’m having sleep”.We had a yum as dinner,It was potato with vegetables and sausages.His unties,uncle and cousins arrived he cave them big hugs,then Milan said “hi Girls” in a funny accent.

Me and Havea made heaps of mines in the sand.We did the corners ,the middle and that was it because Havea side broke down and then Milan came and was digging up. But me and Havea was so tired we couldn’t get angry. “Hay you were a post to dig down but straight”.We put all the compost around there garden me and him were very HOT!!!,we had two ice block each.Havea was walking home so me and Milan were board.

I few hours later.We were ready each one was in a bucket with sand in it.We lited each one at a time it was so cool. It was like a little fire work festival it smells like smoke and ashes.I heard a BOOM!!! and a KAPOW!!! I saw really sparkly ones and swirly ones.One was funny because It was like a meteor shower for ants and that was the last one.Each was so cooler than the other.Then I went home and my next neighbours were still doing it so I went over and did some more.

WALT understand that artist use colours to describe their feelings.

My subject is a parrot. Parrots inspire me because they want to be free from the pirates and the cages.They remind me of the time when I went to another country and when I was in the plane I could see the birds eye view. I have chosen a parrot because of their colours remind me of excitement that I experienced when I was travelling to another country.

I chose the colours,Green,Blue,White and Yellow,because parrots are a type of bird that are colourful. It represents my personality of being adventurous. Parrots also represent the joyous times of my life. I like to be with my whanau and friends like the parrots who flock together. I also love their freedom where they are not told what to do.

Going to Australia!!!

“How long is it gonna take” I moaned  “Hay just wait we only got one or two miles to go” My mom told me.  “You should be thankful that you get to go  see your sister”  I was so tired and sick of waiting. So I started annoying my mom saying “Are we there yet” I groaned. A few minutes later “yah we are here” I was like what ,what are we here.We got in to the airport it was packed I was like wow.We were there just in time.We gave our ticket and rushed in to the plane.

“Boo yah” “were going to see my sister” (3x). I got a snake and a juice box,it was delicious.I had another really long,deep sleep.I wanted to play but I couldn’t I just played on the little tv in the set I watched guava juice videos there was one I really liked it was when he had to get out of this ecaperoom.The place was trashed I whispered to myself “I want to do that” but it never happen.I watched the rest of the video.He had to find cluse and keys and fidget spinners ,if he found all of them he would be able to get out there.There was a phone with a video call and a freaky voice.

Everyone woke up and I was still watching video. My mom asked “were you up all night” “No I was only up until 12” “Were here” “ were at Australia ”(3x) “I can’t wait to see my sister.We were looking 3x , “Jarrod”  “Alisa” I ran as fast as I could then I got really tired.I got back and pushed every one over with my mom. My Aunt said “brokey It’s been A long time, “we have  meet” We had a really really long ride. We finally got there and I saw Alisa friends,They had a lot of toys I started playing on there bikes and there tramp.

‘Ranginui’ the (sky father) and the fantastic earth mother were together for a long time. A few days later,there oldest child turn them apart the huge sky father above and the earth mother Below. As the universe was involved so was land."I am Maui the TRICKSTER!!! and the POWERFULEST!!!.I am INCREDIBLY STRONG!!! and FEARLESS.I am MAGICAL!!!,BRAVE!!! and UNDEFEATED!!!".One day Maui said to his brother to paddle out to sea, out to ‘tounga ika’(where the big fish are). They paddle so far in the sea where no land was to be seen.

Maui grabbed out his magical hook that he craved from his great grandma’s jaw bone. He casted out his hook so... far, a few minutes or seconds it was able to get a really big pull. He pulled like he never had done in his life,all his brothers shouted ‘owear’(wow) “you got a humongous fish”. These huge mountains came out of the sea and made them stuck in a square. It got smaller and smaller at each second. Four Huge waves came and crashed and made a giant splash. Maui stood up and made everything clow and turn into grass,trees.It was magical.

One night they sale out into sea to visit there be loved earth mother. The sea was really rough it made their canoe stuck in these two huge rocks,one giant wave came and crushed the canoe. They climbed back on and stayed there soaking wet and frozen cold.

They turned into stone that made them into humongous mountains. There oldest and tallest brother became the highest peak. Out of all of them.

So that is the story about Maui and Aoraki.

I really liked learning about this story because it was really exciting and attempting to know more. I want to know more about all the maori traditional stories.

The Beautiful Sun!!!

The sun’s rays were reflecting on the the glistening waves.The crystal clear water crashed into the humongous rocks sounding like a big roar.

Far away I could hear the faint tweeting of the birds in the trees. The soft squishy sand under my feet felt great and I felt  the gentle breeze blowing my hair.

The waves crashed onto my cold feet and I smelt seaweed and salty water.

1.First check if it's sweet before you meet.
You need to ask the adult or your parents if it's alright for you to meet the dog and to know where you are. Then ask the owner and the dog.

2.Next to under stand they sniff your hand.
    They know that you want to play with you when they sniff the back of your hand.

3.Then keep your face out of their space.
       You need to stay away Because it will get mad or annoyed and bit you.

4.Slowly and quiet is the way to go.
Don’ run and shout Because it will jump on you.

5.If a dog has a snack stay well back.
Because it might bite you. Because he's eating.

If you treat the dog right you could be his or her Best Friend.
